The advantages of promotional products advertising cannot be overstated. When a promotional product is given out, the product’s name is being distributed and the recipient is benefiting from the company’s generosity. Goodwill is established and the product will hopefully be something of personal value.

It’s not necessary that the promotional product be expensive but it should be universally useful. A bottle opener might be a common thing but how many people drink from cans? A Frisbee might be a “cool” thing to give but what does that item do for an older customer? In utilizing promotional items to encourage interest in a company or service, the wise marketer will opt for an article that is as welcome to a 20 year old male as it is to a 60 year old female.
